I loved vol 1-2 , 3 was interesting but the last one makes me mad, because after all this time his wife abandoned like trash in a house of In-Laws which she tries to conform to。 She is in this emotional relationship with his younger brother which was weird。 I guess I understand because she is not a mature woman she has more of a teenage mindset。 Still the fact that he comes back and we never really get why he left and lied to her, besides he was trying to find himself。 Or the mother in law think I loved vol 1-2 , 3 was interesting but the last one makes me mad, because after all this time his wife abandoned like trash in a house of In-Laws which she tries to conform to。 She is in this emotional relationship with his younger brother which was weird。 I guess I understand because she is not a mature woman she has more of a teenage mindset。 Still the fact that he comes back and we never really get why he left and lied to her, besides he was trying to find himself。 Or the mother in law thinking he abandoned his wife because she needed to be trained to be a proper housewife。 Honestly the wife should have left, maybe help the brother in law process his emotions so they could have remained good friends。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 The only reason I read this is because I had already purchased it and felt that finishing the series would help me move on from how disappointed and angry I felt after volume 3。 I HATE the “Dai loves Komugi” arc。 I HATE the “Yoshino tries to fuck with Komugi/tries to blackmail Dai/tries to force kisses on Dai” arc。 I’m not satisfied with the ending because I wanted to see Tohru and his explanations for why he basically abandoned Komugi to his family and why he was so hard to get in contact with, The only reason I read this is because I had already purchased it and felt that finishing the series would help me move on from how disappointed and angry I felt after volume 3。 I HATE the “Dai loves Komugi” arc。 I HATE the “Yoshino tries to fuck with Komugi/tries to blackmail Dai/tries to force kisses on Dai” arc。 I’m not satisfied with the ending because I wanted to see Tohru and his explanations for why he basically abandoned Komugi to his family and why he was so hard to get in contact with, as well as them either deciding to stay in the family home together or get an apartment。 This series could have been really fun, cute, and meaningful, but then the author had to throw all this juvenile drama bullshit in the form Yoshino and the possible emotional affair between Dai and Komugi - I read both 3 and 4 in the same day, so I can’t remember which one showed Komugi possibly starting to return Dai’s feelings or at least emotionally replace her husband-to-be with him at times。 It’s been a while since I read books 1 and 2 (I thought 1 was pretty darn good and 2 was less so, so I took a break), so I don’t remember Komugi’s age。 If she’s like 26, this whole storyline is even worse。 。。。more

Weeelll。。。。 Ending was both better and worse than expected。 Mostly better。 But Tohru is still a jerk?

3。5 stars。 I am not happy that this is supposed to be the end of this series but I like the story itself!

Finally! I feel like this could have been a 2-volume series as the whole middle part just went on and on。 This was the best of the 4 parts。 Satisfying conclusion, but overall the series was a bit of a letdown。

I'm just happy that the wife didn't get together with the younger brother。 But other than that, it was a very nice manga and it was interesting seeing a woman in that media that didn't even know how to take care of any housework。 I'm just happy that the wife didn't get together with the younger brother。 But other than that, it was a very nice manga and it was interesting seeing a woman in that media that didn't even know how to take care of any housework。 。。。more

Kind of an anticlimactic ending to the series; while the Komugi/Dai situation seems to have figured out where it's going, the Komugi/mom situation didn't feel satisfactorily resolved, the thread with the resentful younger sister felt like it was just kinda abandoned, and I was very disappointed that we never got to see the reunion with Tohru! It didn't even need to be a big, volume-long thing, just a few pages to see how everyone handles his return and confirm once and for all whether this was a Kind of an anticlimactic ending to the series; while the Komugi/Dai situation seems to have figured out where it's going, the Komugi/mom situation didn't feel satisfactorily resolved, the thread with the resentful younger sister felt like it was just kinda abandoned, and I was very disappointed that we never got to see the reunion with Tohru! Didn’t realize this was going to wrap up in only four volumes! I do actually like that they didn’t drag out the story for a million years, but it felt a little abrupt to end it where they did。 I was deeply relieved that the resolution of the “Dai has a crush on Komugi” plot line was not “Dai and Komugi consummate their improbable passion for each other” but rather “Dai realizes that his crush is not as important as respecting Komugi’s place in the family as his sister-in-law and affirms that he Didn’t realize this was going to wrap up in only four volumes! I'm not really sure how to feel。 I really like this series, it's so cute, it's got loveable characters and it fits the genres I love most。 But the ending bothers me。 Possible spoiler below??Okay so, the way the book ends, it honestly feels like Dai's feelings were just filler content。 It's like, there was no plot and they wanted to extend the book so they added this cliche where he falls for his sister in law。 And then suddenly his feelings don't matter and he just accepts her as a sister? The ending of this one is a bit open ended but I think it pulls it off well。 I like how Komugi and Dai patch things up in the end。 I feel like if the author wanted to they could write a sequel series to this。 Hopefully they decide to do that in the future cuz I’d happily read any more of this lovely josei story
